Maryland Computer Science Summit Slated

The 2020 Maryland Computing Education Mini Summit is slated for October 28-29 from 4-6pm each day. The free, virtual summit will feature best practices from Maryland teachers, guest speakers, and cyber resources. The topics includdistance learning, equity, cybersecurity, careers in computing, and many other intriguing ideas and exciting initiatives in computer science.

So grab your most comfortable clothes and settle in to enjoy learning from your colleagues from across Maryland about intriguing ideas and exciting initiatives in computer science!

The Maryland Society for Educational Technology (MSET) promotes the effective instructional and leadership practices of Maryland educators through technology integration. In the midst of COVID-19, education is in unchartered territory as remote learning is now the norm. ISTE Offering Certification Courses Online 

To help educators lead sustained remote learning, the ISTE Certification for Educators program will be offered in a fully online format from May until October 2020.
